Some patients are no longer able to shower themselves. Perhaps because they need ambulatory help or maybe they are fall-risk. A fall can be a very drastic experience and many are afraid to fall again. Personal hygiene is very important, not only to be clean and smell good, but to also prevent any skin rashes or infections. UTIs can be very dangerous especially if someone wears incontinence briefs or doesn't have full control of their bladder and such. We will assist them and do some minimal grooming.
